What drew you to Q-Centrix?
I left the hospital quality department for a consulting role, working closely with clients to improve and grow their cardiac service lines. Q-Centrix offered me an opportunity to manage multiple accounts, develop meaningful working relationships with our partners and do what I love to do.
Why did you move from cardiac registries to sales?
I’m always eager to learn and enjoy developing relationships. Plus, I truly believe in what we do, and love to tell our story. I was also intrigued by the idea of working with hospital partners while helping our business grow.
Any tips or advice for someone who is considering changing career paths?
Don’t be afraid to leave your comfort zone. Doing so is how you grow professionally. I never thought I would be in sales - but if you are passionate about what you do, it’s not selling.
How do you maintain work-life balance?
Our schedules are flexible, all the while-ensuring our partners needs are a priority. I get to travel across the U.S. which I love. And, I work from home, so I spend more valuable time with my family.
What’s the most rewarding part of your role?
Being part of a team and helping hospitals achieve their goals. I still feel a sense of gratification helping hospitals improve the care of the communities they serve.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years in the quality industry?
I will continue to grow professionally potentially seeking a management role within our team. I enjoy working with and developing people. It is very satisfying to see others succeed and meet their professional goals.
